International activities

ITALIAN COUNCIL
It is the main project of the DGCC to promote the production, knowledge and dissemination of contemporary Italian creation in the field of visual arts at an international level.

RESIDENCE AWARDS
The DGCC, in collaboration with the MAECI and with the network of IICs abroad, promotes residency awards for young Italian creatives in the fields of art, architecture, design and curation.

CONTEMPORARY DAY
Annual event promoted by AMACI that involves museums, foundations, public and private institutions, galleries, studios and artist spaces to tell the vitality of contemporary art in Italy.

AVVISO PUBBLICO PER LA PROMOZIONE DELLA FOTOGRAFIA ITALIANA ALL’ESTERO
Rivolto alla Rete Diplomatico-Consolare e degli IIC del MAECI per il finanziamento di progetti culturali ed espositivi legati alla promozione della fotografia italiana all’estero.

ARCHITECTURE FESTIVAL
Public notice aimed at promoting the dissemination among all citizens of the importance of the role of quality architecture for the civil, social and economic progress of the country, through the funding of cultural festivals.

SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURES FOR CULTURAL PLACES
Public notice (first edition) to promote contemporary Italian architecture with the aim of contributing to the realization of a global development more development.

ITALIAN DESIGN DAY
Annual thematic review promoted by MAECI and Ministry of Culture to support the promotion of design and the internationalization of a strategic industrial sector for our exports.

IT OUT OFF
A project aimed at promoting Italian artists in collateral projects to major international art events, in collaboration with Italian Cultural Institutes.

PARTECIPAZIONE A MANIFESTAZIONI DI ARTE CONTEMPORANEA
La DGCC del MiC partecipa ad alcune importanti manifestazioni di arte contemporanea sia in Italia sia all’estero, con l’obiettivo di promuovere le attività a sostegno del settore.

NUOVO GRAND TOUR

Avviso pubblico dedicato alla mobilità internazionale di giovani artisti e creativi sostenuto dalla DGCC, in collaborazione con l’Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Parigi del MAECI.

BEL PAESE. PROMOTING ITALIAN ART AROUND THE WORLD
Program promoted by DGCC and the Contemporary Art Foundations Committee with the aim of supporting the internationalization of Italian art.

GRAND TOUR D’ITALIE
Project aiming to promote relationships between Italian artists mid-career with curators and directors of international art residencies and contemporary art centres.

CANTICA21
A public commissioning project for the support and promotion of Italian contemporary art abroad, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

TOUT COURT EXHIBITION
The IIC in Paris, with the collaboration of the DGCC, presents the group exhibition Tout Court in which there are ten photographs of Luoghi del Contemporaneo.
