Europa Creativa – Desk Italia

Coordinated by the Ministry of Culture, first through the General Secretariat (2014-2020) and now through the Directorate General for Contemporary Creativity (2021-2027) - in partnership with Cinecittà S.p.A. regarding the Media Sub-Program - the Creative Europe Italy Desk is the national Desk in Italy on the Creative Europe Program. It is part of the European network of "Creative Europe Desks," which promote the Program in each participating country and provide free technical assistance to potential beneficiaries of calls funded by the European Commission.

Creative Europe is the European Commission's Framework Programme dedicated to the cultural and creative sectors. Specifically, it supports cultural sector initiatives such as cross-border cooperation, platforms, networking and literary translations; the development, promotion and distribution of creative works with an international dimension; and networking and training initiatives for audiovisual industry professionals. The cultural and creative sectors represent an immensely rich and diverse European heritage, contribute to the evolution of our societies, play an important role in the European economy and help generate growth and jobs.
